Promising Apps

Remember Flat Stanley and all his adventures? Dale Hubert, the author of the beloved and educationally engaging Flat Stanley Project, has developed new apps to support children with special needs. We all know how accessible the Flat Stanley Project is for kids living with autism, so we have high hopes for the power of these apps to engage our kids.

About 30 years ago Hubert invented an adaptive computer keyboard for special needs students, and he has recently turned the underlying software from that program into an iPad App – Say Some More. His other iPad App – Core Learning Basics – allows teachers or parents to create custom quizzes for any topic.

Check them out. Then let us know what you think.
