Grand! Parenting on the Spectrum

May 15, 2013 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Being an engaged grandparent can be tricky, even when your grandchildren are typical. Walking the line between being involved and being perceived as meddling is an art form. But how do you help your child parent a child with autism when all your experiences involve children from very different backgrounds? Attend this workshop where you will learn all about autism spectrum disorder, how to engage with your remarkably able grandchild and how to be fully engaged spectrum grand! parent. Then you can get started on the rewarding job of grandparenting and supporting your child as they discover a very different parenting journey than your own.
