The 2022 Great Autism Read

May 4 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Free
In the midst of April’s showers (and sunshine!), cozy up with an uplifting, perspective-changing book.

We’re reading Uniquely Human: A Different Way of Seeing Autism by Dr. Barry Prizant as a community throughout April, Autism Awareness and Acceptance month.

Join the May 4th Virtual Discussion Group. We’ll share favorite “ah-ha” moments and reflect on how those impact us, our relationships, and our day-to-day. Take this opportunity to turn your learning into hopeful empowering actions!

Take part in optional chapter-by-chapter chats on Facebook @CommunitiesEngagingAutism throughout April and into early May.

We’re drawing on the author’s free discussion guide for our chats and discussion

Access a copy of the book through your local library – digital or paper copies are available to all. Listen to this great interview with the author, check out the discussion guide, or just grab a beverage, open up Zoom, and gather with others who want to talk about autism with a focus on strengths, trust, and relationship.

Register here to get a link to the virtual book discussion on May 4th, 7-8:30 pm!
